OVERVIEW

The Accounting Support Integration Specialist plays a key role in supporting customers with the financial aspects of our software. This position is responsible for onboarding and training clients on accounting functionalities, with a particular focus on QuickBooks integration. The specialist ensures seamless synchronization, resolves client issues, and collaborates with internal teams to enhance the accounting components of our software.

ADDITIONAL AND/OR SPECIFIC SKILLS

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Accounting
• Understanding of Profit and Loss Statements
• Advanced Quickbooks user (Online and Desktop, current versions)
• Experience with various accounting applications (Quickbooks, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Great Plains, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles
• Understanding of Gross Profit Margins and inventory management
• Ability to travel to customer locations nationwide if needed (10%15%)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree in accounting (preferred)
• Convenience Store retail experience (preferred)
• Has previous experience doing accounting for large convenience store chains/gas stations (preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to withstand normal office noise.
• Manual dexterity for typing and other administrative tasks.
• Lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Training customers to use software, specializing in the accounting aspect as well as Quickbooks.
• Setting up chart of accounts, transaction assignments, and synchronization of Quickbooks for customers
• Resolving customer tickets/issues regarding accounting/Quickbooks in relation to our software
• Working with software developers to improve accounting functions within our software
• Weekly online training on Accounting functions within our software
• Daily customer interaction via phone, Internet and email
• Other duties as assigned
