QUALIFICATIONS

• Entry-level (0–6 months) experience in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent computer literacy—able to quickly learn new systems/software.
• Basic understanding of Canadian personal and corporate tax fundamentals.
• Bonus if you have familiarity with CaseWare, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online (QBO), Sage 50 and Payroll reporting

• Contribute to daily accounting functions, including tax preparation (personal and corporate) and payroll reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of compilation engagements and financial statements.
• Utilize accounting software such as CaseWare, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online (QBO), and Sage 50.
• Stay organized and detail-oriented in handling documentation and client records.
• Communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—with team members and clients.
