POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Technician is responsible for providing essential financial, administrative, and clerical services within the Finance department. The primary focus is to manage accounts payable/receivable and handling ticketing processes. The Accounting Technician will ensure that transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Certifications (i.e., bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable) a plus

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related accounting role
• Experience in Construction, Oil Field, Retail and similar industry experience desired
• Experience with ticketing systems and financial software preferred
• QuickBooks experience desired

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Familiarity with accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting

OTHER DUTIES

• Monthly account reconciliations
• Various report creations, not limited to job profitability, day rate, inventory etc.
• Assist / prepare monthly tax remittances
• Assist CFO and Controller with monthly internal reporting
• Assist with month end – journal entries as required
• Additional responsibilities: as identified and assigned
  Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by EnerStar Solutions.
