Position Summary  The Part-Time Accounting Technician will perform a variety of routine and some non-routine accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting. The position will work 20-28hrs per week. Job Responsibilities  * Learn the AP/AR process to serve as backup for absences, vacations, etc.  * Match AP documents and enter * Invoice customers * Fixed Asset documentation  * Assist with annual audit * Pull & enter returns  * Enter cash receipts  * Post data into SAP system and excel spreadsheets.  * General Office - Filing and any other duties that may develop in the Finance department. * Work with Staff Accountant on miscellaneous projects * Other duties as assigned Experience Requirements * Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel * QuickBooks experience is preferred * SAP experience is preferred * Must have good verbal and written communication skills and good organizational skills Education Requirements  * Associate’s degree in accounting or business and 1 – 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination sufficient to indicate the ability to perform the duties of the position.
