GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Accounting Technician keeps the financial heartbeat of our hotel running strong. This role is all about accuracy, accountability, and agility—balancing the details of financial statements, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and compliance. You’ll work closely with the Regional Controller and General Manager to ensure financial clarity, while also supporting budget preparation, audits, and analysis that fuel smart decision-making.

EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum 3 years in hospitality or an accounting position
· OR a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with 3+ years in hotel finance/accounting

PREFERRED EXTRAS:

· Experience with major brands (Marriott/Hilton/Accor/IHG/Hyatt)
· Strong knowledge of accounting policies and financial procedures
· Flexible with working hours to meet deadlines
· Confident communicator who inspires trust and collaboration
· Bilingual (English/French)
· Pre-opening/opening experience (a big plus!)
· Familiarity with FOSSE, MICROS, Employer D, Adaco, and MS Office
