Compensation & Hours:

• The rate of pay will be $48K - $55K/year based on experience
• Monday-Friday, business hours
• Based in office, Lethbridge, AB

Position Summary:

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
• Prepare financial statements and data compilation for your team and external accountants
• Create and manage budgets, ensuring clients are communicated with regarding their accounts
• Prepare GST and compliance returns
• Complete monthly reconciliations across accounts
• Preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, general ledgers, and other records
• Assist with forecasting both internally and for clients

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience in full cycle accounting
• 1 year experience with QuickBooks software
• Post secondary education in Business administration, accounting, or equivalent
• Strong problem solving skills, including resolution focused thinking
• Proven communication skills, verbal, written, and interpersonal
• Time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and pivot quickly
