EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. and
· 2-5 years of recent related experience in either generalist or multiple specialist roles. and
· Possess either a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM) designation or willing to pursue the designation.
· Experience developing and implementing accounting and finance policies and procedures.
· Experience developing and analysing operating budgets an asset.
· Preference given to candidates with experience with Adagio accounting software.
· Experience processing payables, receivables and general ledger entries
· Previous experience working in a First Nations community is an asset.
· Clean criminal record check required.
