Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts in line with accounting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
- Manage all finance processes, including the preparation of statutory accounts, month-end reporting, profit and loss consolidation, balance sheet analysis, cost variance analysis (actual vs budget), and “Work in Progress” evaluations.
- Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, Brightpay, and Sage for effective financial management.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial plans, providing insights based on historical data and trends.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies through regular audits and reviews.
- Support the year-end audit process by liaising with auditors.
- Communicate with bank representatives to manage financing arrangements.
- Coordinate with insurers regarding all company insurance matters.
