To support this mission, Syngenta’s Finance Operations is seeking a ATR NA Entity Analyst (Talent booster for 7 months) in Montevideo. This role will will support all IFRS group reporting assuring correctness, timely submission, and proper substantiation of financial reporting submissions in line with the Syngenta Financial Reporting requirements. Accountabilities Monitor for the correctness of relevant balance sheet reconciliations in line with corporate IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements Provide relevant support to Statutory & Tax team and/or Country Business Finance team to ensure sign-off and submission to appropriate local authorities on time and in accordance with local statutory requirements Engage in dialogue with Business Finance organization to verify the correctness of the accounts Ensure effective and sustainable implementation of ICF Controls compliance related to Reporting Financials. Coordinate external audits, and drive sustainable and timely remediation of outstanding audit issues in close corporation conjunction with the Business Finance Good understanding of business end-to-end processes and internal controls necessary to safeguard the Company’s assets Qualifications Required Degree from Accounting, Administration. English intermediate or advance level (fluent) 3 to 5 years’ experience in Reporting, Finance, Accounting, Audit or finance related positions Good communication skills in relation to key stakeholders, including senior managers at the country or territory level. Knowledge of Financial Reporting requirements, Financial Frameworks, and other relevant policies and procedures. Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization. Self-starter requiring minimal direct supervision to complete tasks and activities.
