JOB OVERVIEW

Filcon America, a Japanese subsidiary of a publicly traded company headquartered in Tokyo, is seeking a part-time Accounting & Trade Administrator in Beaverton, OR, with the potential to transition to full-time in the future. Our company imports paper and pulp forming fabrics manufactured at our plant and sells them to customers across North America. The Beaverton office serves as a bridge between our Tokyo headquarters and North American clients, ensuring quick and effective responses to customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Permanent resident status
• Proficiency in English and Japanese (reading, writing, communication)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in general office administration
• Experience in trade administration
• Experience with accounting software
• Experience in import management, including coordinating shipments, preparing import documentation, and managing customs compliance

• General office administration, trade administration, and accounting tasks
• Part-time duties: package shipping, Excel spreadsheet management, phone support, order processing, inventory management, shipping document verification, import documentation preparation, invoicing, payment processing
• Full-time duties: all of the above plus monthly accounting, semi-annual and annual financial statements, consolidated financial reports, and tax filings
