Description

Noel Technologies, a leading semiconductor foundry headquartered in the heart of Silicon Valley since 1996, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Transaction Clerk. This role supports front office operations and a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable, purchasing, and audit support. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a willingness to learn and assist across departments.
NOTE: This position is initially offered on a_ 3-month contract to hire basis_, employment may be concluded at any time during this period. This arrangement provides an opportunity for both the candidate and Noel Technologies to assess mutual fit. Successful candidates may be considered for conversion to a permanent employee status following the completion of the contract period.

POSITION SUMMARY

Primary duties include all day-to-day business of front office; Greeting customers, sign-in sheet, ordering materials for all staff, answering phone calls, opening/ stamping/distributing daily mail, accounts payable duties, purchasing, supporting the Accounting Department in various audits, ordering office supplies, paging staff as needed. Year-end boxing files, lifting required. Other accounting tasks as needed, including accounts receivable duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Willing to continuously learn and train additional accounting tasks as needed for job requirements.
  • Strong phone skills, paging system, transferring calls, voice mail knowledge.
  • Regularly, timely attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Must be able to follow established policies and procedures and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Must have the ability to recognize problems, recommend and implement solutions
  • Must be well organized and possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities concurrently
  • Must work well with others and be a team player

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • AA degree or equivalent in Finance
  • Prior AP and AR Specialist or Accounting assistant experience is a plus
  • Basic Accounting knowledge required for the job.
  • Purchasing experience, a plus.
  • Excel knowledge.
  • NetSuite and BILL.com knowledge is a plus
    Job Types: Full-time, Contract
    Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable data entry (standard & purchase order entries) and process vendor payments.
  • Cross training in Accounts Receivable tasks including invoicing, customer payment application, and collections.
  • Maintain the front desk & answering phones.
  • Create and maintain purchase orders for maintenance and operations departments and obtain proper approval.
  • Ordering of basic office supplies.
  • Various projects as needed.
  • Open and close purchase orders & files. Research new and past orders.
  • Handles all incoming mail & distributes to proper departments.
  • Maintain & match receipts for expense reports or credit cards.
  • Assist in various audits
  • Assisting HR in company events as needed
