Role Description
Is Mellus – Import from Sardinia, an international company based in Dubai and specialized in the import and distribution of high-quality Italian food products, is looking for a skilled and reliable Accounting & Warehouse Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, hands-on experience with QuickBooks, and a solid background in warehouse operations, including stock and expiry management using the FIFO method.
Key Responsibilities
· - Full management of the accounts payable and receivable cycles, including invoice issuance and entry using QuickBooks Online
· - Accurate application of UAE VAT regulations and preparation/submission of VAT returns according to FTA guidelines
· - Assistance in the preparation and coordination of Corporate Tax returns
· - Maintenance and audit of all financial documents related to sales, purchases, and import activities
· - Monitoring of payment flows, bank reconciliations, and related reporting
· - Warehouse oversight and inventory control, including:
· - Stock monitoring and inventory level tracking
· - Expiry date control and shelf-life management
· - Implementation and daily supervision of the FIFO system
· - Verification of incoming goods: customs documents, delivery notes, product quality and compliance
· - Coordination between logistics, finance, and management to ensure full compliance and traceability of operations
· - Support in preparing accurate data for periodic tax filings and internal financial reports
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· - Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in accounting and fiscal management in the UAE
· - Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
· - Advanced use of QuickBooks Online
· - Attention to detail and autonomy in managing financial documentation
· - Good command of spoken and written English
· - Strong organizational and communication skills, with reliability and problem-solving attitude
