Description PURPOSE The Accounting Youth Apprentice is responsible for learning and applying their technical skills and working as part of a team carrying out tasks under close coaching and supervision. REPORTS TO/ ACCOUNTABILITY Consultant/Senior Consultant KEY SUCCESS FACTORS Ability to apply self to learning and applying technical skills. Co-operative team player. Interest in business and commercial affairs Ability to apply self to learning and applying technical skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & LEARNING COMPETENCIES Navigate company technology systems. Maintain and update client data accurately and confidentially. Provide administrative support including document preparation and file organization. Assist with client retention activities. Prepare client-ready documents. Support simple client service requests under supervision. Follow internal policies and regulatory compliance standards. Bookkeeping, payroll, Bill Pay for the Thrive Client base. Prepare live and after-the-fact payrolls. Requirements KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Demonstrated record of retention of application of technical skills. Quality of work output. Integration into the team. Meeting assignment objectives (timeframes, budgets, outcomes). Client satisfaction. Participation in firm wide initiatives. Participation in recruiting and high school visitation activities.
