Our company, ITO TOURS B.V., is looking for an account manager to support our team.
We are a travel agency for tour operators/wholesalers/coach companies/etc. (B2B). This means that we act as an intermediary for foreign operators who want to reserve services for their groups visiting mainly the Netherlands, but at times also other parts of Western Europe. Our service includes accommodation, transportation, reserving dinners and lunches, arranging entrance at various attractions, and any other needs the group may have. Therefore, it is necessary for an employee to be able to speak to our partners in the Netherlands in Dutch or English, but also to assist our foreign clients in their language. We are looking for an employee who enjoys communicating with customers, solving problems, negotiating prices for all possible services and hotel rooms, and always prioritizing the customer’s needs.
In addition to these tasks, we would love to look at the future where you can expand the function in the form of customer acquisition, customer retention, customer visits, and tasks that are more in the commercial and marketing field.
In addition to our activities, we also work on domestic projects with parties that focus on various events and special projects. We would certainly like to invite an employee with experience in this industry or the desire to expand their network to respond to this vacancy.
Our base is in Leidschendam. From our office in Nieuwstraat, we are in contact with our clients from the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Benelux, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, India, the Middle East, and Asia.
The main administrative tasks of the employee are:

  • Maintain contact with the executor of the organization or event
  • Compose quotes and negotiate the price strategy of the accommodation or carrier
  • Make a project plan and monitor the execution
  • Maintain contact with the client during the execution of the project
  • Expand your network by visiting networking events, workshops, etc.
    We are looking for an employee who fits well into our team. Personality and appearance must match the current team, as we also want to convey who we are and what our people stand for to the outside world. We expect an employee to have at least a good command of English and at least one foreign relevant language (French, German, Italian) in both speech and writing.
    Education and/or experience in tourism is desirable but not necessary. Problem-solving ability, warmth, not being afraid of the phone, and being able to handle stress are the keywords we are looking for in an employee. The salary for this position will be based on the candidate’s experience and number of working hours.
    We also invite those who do not (yet) speak the Dutch language. Fluent Dutch is not a requirement, and we have more employees in our office speaking English.
