What will you do in this role?
As an Account Manager, you will have the important responsibility of serving our ethnic supermarkets in the Netherlands and across Europe. You will be the main point of contact for these customers and play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong customer relationships. We believe that excellent service starts with good communication, which is why speaking the language of our customers is an essential part of your work.
By speaking to customers in their native language, you show that you not only understand their business needs but also appreciate their culture. This creates a personal approach and strengthens the trust and loyalty of our customers. Whether it’s questions, negotiations, or advice, your language skills and cultural sensitivity will make the difference.

You will also be responsible for:

• Developing and expanding your own customer portfolio;
• Approaching and onboarding potential customers;

The team:
Our sales team consists of a passionate group of professionals who are fully dedicated to providing the best solutions for our customers. To meet the needs of different markets, our Sales department is divided into various teams.
Within the China & Korea-Japan team, as the name suggests, we are responsible for all customers with a Chinese or Korean background. Within the team, we speak various languages and dialects to ensure we can communicate with each customer in their preferred language.
With our market and cultural knowledge, we build strong, long-term relationships. The brands we represent in Europe complete the picture. Whether it’s innovative products or excellent service, we strive to always offer the highest value.

This is what you need:

• Proficiency in Mandarin, French, and English;
• Speaking Dutch is a plus;
• You live in the Kampen area, with a maximum travel time of 45 minutes;
• Affinity with our products;
• At least a completed MBO-4 education;
• Independence, good communication skills, and commercial drive;
• Numerical insight and a positive, customer-oriented attitude.

In addition to an affinity with our products, it’s a plus if you already have some experience in a similar role or another position that has provided you with relevant skills.
