Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Executive to manage the full cycle of accounts payable processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires strong attention to detail, understanding of inventory-related transactions, and the ability to work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • At least a Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Strong understanding of 3-way matching and inventory-linked invoicing.
  • Familiarity with systems used in manufacturing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP).
  • Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
  • Process and verify high-volume vendor invoices, particularly related to raw materials, machinery, and indirect supplies.
  • Match invoices against purchase orders (POs), goods received notes (GRNs), and delivery challans.
  • Liaise with procurement, stores, and production departments to resolve invoice and PO discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor payments in accordance with credit terms and company policies.
  • Perform 3-way matching and reconcile supplier statements regularly.
  • Assist in managing advance payments and maintain proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve queries, disputes, and follow-up on credit notes.
  • Support monthly closing activities, including AP aging analysis and accruals.
  • Maintain accurate records of all payable transactions in the system.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., GST, TDS) and audit requirements.
