Description

A position suitable for an individual with experience of accounting/bookkeeping & payroll has arisen within our established estate agency group in our Long Melford office. The role will involve the use of SAGE payroll and SAGE accounting. The successful candidate will be required to assist with managing the finances of the 10 different businesses that make up the group.
Responsibilities;

A crucial role for maintaining accurate financial records.

  • Sales ledger
  • Purchase ledger
  • Credit control
  • Petty cash
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll and VAT returns
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Company administrative tasks

Requirements;

Proven experience as an accounts assistant.

  • Strong knowledge of Sage 50 and Sage Payroll is essential.
  • Knowledge of Excel essential.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills .
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and part of a team.

18 hours per week. Salary dependant on experience.
23 days holiday + bank holidays pro rata and a day off for your birthday should it fall on a working day.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £16,000.00-£18,000.00 per year
