JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on bookkeeper and business administrator to join our small team. The position will involve both bookkeeping and administrative duties but may evolve over time dependent on the individual and there is the opportunity for career development as the business continues to grow.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping / admin role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (including Xero) and Microsoft applications
  • Experience in data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team player, eager to learn and develop

Responsibilities
  • Assisting with on-boarding new clients
  • Assisting with company filings
  • Assisting with new tax registrations
  • Answer phones, handle messages and respond to general enquiries
  • Scanning documents
  • Mail handling
  • Arranging meetings for the directors
  • Dealing with clients via telephone and email
  • Providing administrative support to the team as and when required
  • Preparing outgoing correspondence
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including bank reconciliations
