Our West Cork based client seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join their team over the summer months for approx.. 4 months cover in their West Cork office. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting finance and administrative operations, including day-to-day bookkeeping, and general office management. Proficiency in Sage software or similar accounting package are essential for this role.
Hours: Part-time, approx. 20 hours per week. We offer flexibility around how these hours are distributed, allowing you to manage your own schedule in line with business needs but the hours will be completed in the West Cork office.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with accounting best practices
· Process invoices and issue statements to clients/customers
· Manage accounts payable, including timely payment of suppliers and creditors
· Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly
· Enter financial data manually into accounting software and spreadsheets where required
· Track and record incoming payments and follow up on outstanding balances
· Liaise with external accountants if necessary
