Forest Freight Ltd is a dynamic and growing transport and logistics company based in Rainham. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable and efficient services to our clients, and we are now seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join our office-based team.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic experience in an accounts or administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal English is essential
  • Experience using Sage (preferred but not essential)
  • Competent with Microsoft Excel and general office software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
  • Checking and reconciling supplier and customer statements
  • Uploading and processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Allocating customer receipts and other incoming payments to the correct accounts
  • Supporting the wider finance team with general administrative tasks
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial records
  • Assisting with ad-hoc finance-related queries and duties
