The Role

As an integral part of the Classic Residences Brighton team, the Accounts Administrator will provide direct support to the operations team with the day-to-day activities in the Accounts department. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and completeness across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing general accounts administration duties
  • Cash handling and banking
  • Investigating and analysing account discrepancies
  • Producing departmental financial reports
  • Liaising with residents regarding account matters
  • Providing support to Village staff with financial queries and processes

This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering high-quality service to both internal teams and residents.

The Shifts

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:30am - 4:30pm

About You
The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a supportive team to complete tasks. Your strong customer service and genuine, warm communication skills will allow you to effectively liaise with our residents and visitors and provide a positive experience on entry to the village.

To be successful in your application, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable, Administration and Customer Service
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher), coupled with the ability pick up new systems and online applications
  • Knowledge of invoice payments and customer billing
  • Be able to work effectively in a team and autonomously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A professional, friendly, initiative-taking and can-do attitude
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate, or willing to complete
  • A genuine interest in working with seniors
