Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Accounts Administrator based at our Subiaco Office who will support the Mining and Group Accounting team with financial account management.
The primary responsibilities of this role include supporting the daily transactional review process, as well as managing end-of-month project claims, financial analysis, and reporting. The position will provide essential accounting support to the Mining department, ensuring that project cost accounts are closely monitored, accurate, and fully traceable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operations of the Finance and Mining departments, including filing, report generation, and reviewing forecasts and budgets.
- Ensure accounting controls are maintained by adhering to established policies and procedures, while complying with all federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Recommend financial actions by analysing account transactions and providing insights.
- Support senior accountants in preparing monthly and yearly closings.
- Ensure the timely completion of monthly financial account reviews and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Contribute to the timely completion, analysis, and reporting of monthly financial results.
