We have an exciting opportunity available to join the Finance team and play a crucial role in our dynamic business. The role would be predominately working on the purchase ledger, accurately processing data into Xero and Gatekeeper. You would also be involved with our Bagshot Depot sales ledger and our Sales Office processed card payment system.

PERSONAL SKILLS:

  • Accurate data input and attention to detail
  • Good communication with suppliers and colleagues
  • Confident working with finance systems and excel spreadsheets
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Interest in improving processes and exploring automation tools
  • Experience in using Xero and Gatekeeper desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Responsibilities
  • Accurately process and input purchase invoices into Xero
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Manage and update Gatekeeper (recording seed, chemical and fertiliser purchases and field applications)
  • Perform quarter end stock checks and stock valuation spreadsheets
  • Raise sales invoices for our Bagshot Depot orders
  • Reconcile the Sales Office processed card payments
  • Oversee company credit cards
  • Maintain office stationery and other supplies
  • Reconcile petty cash
