JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills and have a background in office administration and or some accounts knowledge. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities and providing excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

SHIFT DETAILS

Ideally we are looking for someone 10am-2pm Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. We cant quite make this a term time contract however there is a week off in October, two weeks at Christmas, a week in February and 2 weeks at Easter. There is then a break for the 6 weeks holidays however we do have a requirement for 2 shifts over the summer, with the extended break we have made the requirement of one shift every 2 weeks to ensure keeping in touch with what’s going on and also to help with month end over the summer. However we hope by being such a small requirement in school holidays this will be manageable for someone. You will also still have 6 shifts you can take normal holiday throughout the year to be agreeable to suit the business. If this isnt quite clear i have made a PDF calendar to show the suggested work schedule for Academic year 25/26
This will be annualised pay so the contract will be for 444 hours per year.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous office experience is ideal; administrative experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
  • Demonstrated clerical experience in a professional environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, showing initiative when necessary.
