REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma holder with 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and administration.
  • Fresh graduates and mid-career switchers are welcome; training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Strong attention to detail, good multi-tasking abilities, and a positive team attitude.Prior experience in a Trade Association or event management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts and Admin Executive (3-day work week) to support LIAS in its administrative, financial, and event-related functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting the execution of industry development initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance & Admin

  • Manage financial transactions, including reconciliation and ensuring accurate payment records.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping duties (general ledger, accounts payable, cash flow) and prepare monthly finance reports for Council meetings.
  • Handle routine banking matters (e.g. fixed deposit renewals, bank access applications).
  • Liaise with external auditors for annual audit preparation, including account schedules.
  • Prepare and support annual statutory submissions (IRAS, ROS filings).

Governance & Secretariat Support

  • Assist in administering Council Meetings and the Annual General Meeting, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and logistics coordination.

HR & Membership

  • Provide basic HR support (monthly payroll, CPF submissions, leave tracking, staff claims – for 2 headcounts).
  • Handle LIAS membership matters, including applications, payments, and general inquiries.
  • Manage the Association’s main communication lines (email and phone) and disseminate official notices to members when required.

Event & Program Support

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for events such as workshops, seminars (approx. 1 per month), and 2 major annual events.
  • Assist with on-site support when necessary.
