Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of our facility management company. The role will assist with accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, payroll support, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare and process client invoices, supplier invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Monitor outstanding client payments and supplier balances.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly payroll and WPS-related accounting.
- Maintain records of employee advances, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Monitor petty cash and prepare petty cash reports.
- Record and track site/project-related expenses and purchases.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Verify supporting documents, invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Assist with VAT-related documentation and basic UAE VAT accounting requirements.
- Coordinate with the Operations, HR, Procurement, and Admin teams regarding financial matters.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in UAE.
- Experience in facility management, construction, contracting, or service-based companies is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of UAE accounting and VAT requirements.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience with client billing and service-based invoicing.
- Understanding of project/site cost tracking.
- Knowledge of supplier and subcontractor accounts.
- Experience supporting WPS/payroll processing.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT and basic compliance requirements.

Job Description: Finance Assistant Location: Dubai Reporting to: Finance Manager
Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day finance operations across the business. This role will focus on transactional finance, including bank reconciliations, invoicing, and supporting debtor and creditor management, as well as general finance administration to ensure accurate and timely financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly
- Support cashbook postings, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
- Assist with maintaining up-to-date cash positions and reporting Sales Ledger & Invoicing
- Raise customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and issue sample invoices where required for clients or internal approvals
- Maintain accurate records of invoicing and supporting documentation
- Support with debit note processing and price customer price queries Credit Control Support
- Support management of the aged debtor ledger
- Work with the Finance Manager and Regional team to reduce debtor days for a select invoice category.
- UAE Office Costs & Expenses
- Process and post UAE office costs including rent, utilities, and operational expenses
- Review expense submissions for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure proper coding and allocation of costs -Support UAE Expense claim processing Finance Administration
- Maintain organised finance records and filing
- Support audit requests by gathering documentation
- Assist with onboarding new suppliers/customers
- Manage finance inbox queries
- Support preparation of reports, schedules, and reconciliations
- Assist with admin month-end close tasks
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a finance assistant or accounts assistant role for 3years plus- Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and ledger processes
- Excellent Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills
- Experience using accounting systems
