We’re on the lookout for a detail‑driven Accounts and Sales Administrator to join a dynamic team within a leading home‑furnishings buying group. KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience in sales support, order processing, or bookkeeping
  • Strong numerical skills and experience with reconciliation-type tasks
  • Confident in using Excel; familiarity with accounting or CRM systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication—clear, professional, and polite, whether written or spoken
    Proactive, well-organised, and able to juggle multiple tasks without losing attention to detail
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
    Expected hours: No less than 21 per week

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Accounts and Sales Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of the team—processing orders, managing account reconciliations, and liaising with both suppliers and independent retail members. You’ll support the Head of Operations day‑to‑day, ensuring clients receive accurate, timely service and that financial records remain pristine. It’s a role that calls for precision, initiative, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

KEY DUTIES

  • Handle sales order entry, invoice generation, and dispatch to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero accounting software.
  • Support credit control, highlighting late payments and liaising with both members and internal finance
  • Assist with monthly sales reporting and ad‑hoc financial analysis
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager and wider team, including meeting prep and follow‑ups
