Job Title: Accounts & Sales Administrator
Location: Wickhambrook, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: £27,000 p/a
Our client based in Wickhambrook, Suffolk is looking for an Accounts & Sales Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

JOB SUMMARY:

Ensuring all responsibilities and duties as listed below are processed in a timely manner. Communicating at all times with the Finance Manager and Export Manager. Ensure all accounting and sales admin processes have Standard Operating Procedures and a matrix showing deadlines when each task needs processing and ensure that they are updated.

Responsibilities

AS AN ACCOUNTS & SALES ASSISTANT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Process purchase ledger invoices and customer sales invoices/commercial invoices/credit notes using the ERP system and SAGE software.
  • Manage credit control, ensuring debtors are handled per company procedures.
  • Complete quarterly grant monitoring forms and reconcile supplier invoices with delivery notes.
  • Liaise with stores and suppliers to resolve invoice processing issues.
  • Send invoices for payment, email daily remittances, and file paid invoices.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts monthly and follow up on overdue customer invoices.
  • Process Barclaycard receipts and monthly statements.
  • Support Spares during peak periods and provide cover for administration when needed.
  • Assist with the annual stocktake.
  • Coordinate customer visits, including meeting arrangements and on-site support.
  • Support the Export Manager with sales processing and order acknowledgments..

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE ACCOUNTS & SALES ADMINISTRATOR ROLE WILL HAVE:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAGE accounting systems.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Ability to work closely with other team members to resolve customer issues.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work efficiently and cost-effectively.
