Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP, India. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department's daily operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Assist with customer invoicing processes and maintain accurate billing records Perform daily bank reconciliations and report discrepancies Support the maintenance and review of Customer & Supplier Master Data Collaborate with the Credit Control team to follow up on outstanding payments and agree on payment dates Assist the procurement team with approval delegation and documentation Prepare and maintain various financial reports and statements Support month-end and year-end closing processes Contribute to the improvement of accounting procedures and internal controls Respond to accounting-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and analysis as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Demonstrated experience in a similar Accounts Assistant position Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and reporting standards Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proactive outlook with a continuous improvement mindset Proficiency in financial software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when required Job-Category: Finance Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
