We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team and support the financial operations of our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and efficiency of our services, ensuring smooth financial management in line with NDIS guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in accounts or finance roles, preferably within the NDIS or healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with NDIS billing processes and guidelines is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and financial regulations within the NDIS sector is an advantage.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team
  • Have a NDISWSC - or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing and payment processing.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process NDIS claims and ensure compliance with NDIS funding guidelines.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensuring accurate employee records.
  • Monitor and track client service agreements and funding usage.
  • Liaise with clients, providers, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Support the Accounts Lead in the preparation of financial audits and tax filings.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of financial documents and records.
  • Help with Veterans Home Care claims and issuing quarterly copayments
