Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our five-person Commercial Property Accounts Team. You’ll be working closely with the wider Commercial Estate Management Team, helping to manage a diverse portfolio of over 1,200 commercial tenants - from global businesses to local startups.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to launch their accountancy career. You’ll gain hands-on experience in accounts receivable/payable, utility and rates management, VAT reporting, and property administration - alongside full study support toward a professional accountancy qualification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Posting and allocating payments and receipts using bespoke property management systems
  • Responding to tenant account and billing queries
  • Managing utility and business rates liabilities
  • Assisting with VAT returns and ad-hoc financial reporting
  • Generating rent, utility, and miscellaneous invoices
  • Maintaining physical invoice records
  • Supporting tenancy agreement drafting and document preparation
  • Liaising with surveyors and solicitors on property queries
  • Helping the team stay on top of billing and compliance issues
