OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organisation. REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and Workday is highly desirable.

  • A solid understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records across multiple accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing activities.
  • Maintain organised documentation for all financial transactions to support audits and compliance checks.
  • Utilise Workday and other accounting software to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts payable and other financial matters.
