KEY SKILLS

AAT level 2 minimum or qualified bookkeeping by experience
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, ability to work with data and systems
Well organised & strong time management
Experience of Xero accounting software preferable
Attention to detail
Approachable and good communicator
Comfortable in a team environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,500.00-£26,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

PURPOSE

To work closely with the Finance Manager & Head of Finance to maintain accurate, up to date and usable financial records.
Job duties include daily bank and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure charitable income, expenditure and funds are efficiently and precisely recorded and comply with charity accounting regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily reconciliations between Xero software and multiple bank accounts.
Manage the credit card expense process to ensure all receipts are collected and posted accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintaining a clean AR ledger, collecting debts to minimise overdues
Maintaining AP ledger, processing invoices and expenses, managing the PO process.
Manage the Just Giving donations process downloading reports and allocating to correct account codes
