HOURS: 37.5 PER WEEK

Salary: £24,000 to £30,000 Depending on Experience
Location: Endeavour Automotive, Hyundai Ipswich, Number One, Ransome’s Way, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9SP.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic Accounts Hub. Previous motor trade experience would be an advantage but not essential.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role you will have the following: -

  • Experience within the automotive industry is preferable;
  • Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant or Purchase Ledger role;
  • Knowledge of Kerridge would be an advantage
  • Hold an Accounting qualification or have a desire to study towards an industry-recognised qualification; and
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels combined with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will report into the Regional Accountant and your role will predominantly deal with:

OTHER DUTIES:-

  • Managing petty cash
  • Credit Control / chasing up payments etc
  • Reconciling and posting of PDQ daily
  • Processing daily bank payments & receipts
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Allocation of the company credit card transactions
  • Work with both the finance and operational teams to maintain a robust control environment in line with Group and Brand policies and procedures
  • Ad hoc tasks as required
