We Are Looking For The Accounts Assistant will be handle administrative tasks, operational procedures and work with existing accounting personnel in a support capacity. This role should be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a flair for numbers. Ultimately, a successful Accounts Assistant will ensure that the company’s daily accounting functions run accurately and effectively. The Accounts Assistant may be assigned multiple tasks on a daily basis. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) * Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department * Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records * Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements * Reconcile accounts in a timely manner * Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database * Provide assistance and support to company personnel * Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies * Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas * Performs other duties as assigned What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills): * Mandatory Schooling * 1-2 years in a similar position * Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software * Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures * Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports * Accuracy and attention to detail * Aptitude for numbers * Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks * Data entry and word processing skills * Well organized FDH Aero is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
