Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, loves to stay organised, and has a positive, proactive attitude? We’re looking for a dedicated individual to join our team at Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing in Kensington as an Accounts Assistant!
As a key member of our office, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the smooth running of our racing administration. You’ll work alongside a friendly, motivated team who share a passion for racing, with plenty of opportunities to contribute and grow.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Previous bookkeeping, payroll and/or office management experience.
  • Ideally, experience with Prism horse racing management software and Xero accounting software.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • An understanding of the Thoroughbred racing industry.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills.
  • A team player with a “can-do” attitude who’s happy to pitch in wherever needed.

  • Monthly invoicing of owners
  • Account reconciliation to ensure everything balances
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Generating detailed reports for financial insights
  • Handling procurement for the business
  • Overseeing and managing expenses
  • Other administrative tasks as required
