We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at the Grand Hotel, Malahide on a full-time basis. If you have a passion for numbers, excellent organizational skills, and 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (ideally 2–3 years)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential

Responsibilities
  • Assist with Accounts Payable processes
  • Process and manage creditors’ invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update the Purchase Order log
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment queries
  • Support the finance team with general administrative tasks as required
  • Assist in month-end reporting and reconciliations
