JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our small finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial records and contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounting processes.
The position is part-time and would ideally suit someone who wants to work around school hours.
Wage is dependent upon experience

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Sage.
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn new systems.
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £15,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
    Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Responsibilities
  • Be fully conversant with Sage 50
  • Assist in managing accounts receivable processes. Producing, emailing invoices, statements and credit control.
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Have some knowledge of payroll training will be given on the software if not familiar with Staffology (Iris)
  • Maintain organised documentation for all financial transactions, and general administration
