Description

SSP are a large construction organisation based in Dublin. We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Dublin.
Hybrid working available with flexible hours considered.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting / financial role.
  • A third level degree in finance/accounting.
  • Working towards a professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA /ACA / CPA) an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Reconciliation of cash accounts on a weekly basis ensuring any queries are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Communicate weekly cash balances to CEO, CFO.
  • Accounts Payable
  • Ownership of invoice postings and supplier relationships for certain areas of spend, ensuring consistent communication with Finance Manager on the status of these accounts.
  • Weekly posting of supplier payments
  • Completing certain Supplier Statement Reconciliations
  • Ad hoc support where required, during periods of annual leave etc
  • Management Accounts & Trackers
  • Preparation of all monthly bank & cash reconciliations
  • Ownership of certain balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist Finance Manager in compiling documentation for year end audit
  • Other ad hoc tasks and support to the Finance team in line with team requirements
