Accounts Assistant Location: Truro (Hybrid) Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Join Kensa and help shape the financial success of the UK’s low-carbon heating future. About the role We’re looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to provide essential support to our Finance team. This is a varied role where you’ll assist with day-to-day operations, month-end processes, and project cost reporting, helping us maintain accurate and timely financial records. Key Responsibilities Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Finance team. Provide clerical and administrative support to the Group Financial Controller, Head of Accounts, and Management Accountant. Manage accounts receivable and provide cover for purchase ledger when required. Process credit card expenses via Access. Support Kensa Contracting project cost reporting. Assist with bringing ledgers up to trial balance stage at month end, including ledger analysis, accruals, prepayments, and fixed assets. Prepare monthly account reconciliations. What you'll bring Ideally part-qualified AAT (Level 2 or Level 3) or equivalent experience. Previous experience in an accounts or finance role is desirable. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting software is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
