Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our team. This role will provide crucial support to our finance department, assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to gain more experience in accounting within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing processes.
- Maintain and update accounting records, including journals and ledgers.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as required.
- Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero) and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is an advantage but not required.
