Hours: Mon–Thurs 9am–5pm & Fri 9am–4pm (35.25 hrs per week)
Salary: £30,000 per annum (DOE)
We are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a maternity cover contract with a well-established and reputable business in the equipment rental sector. You’ll play a key part in the finance team, supporting with a wide range of responsibilities including:

• Reconciling multiple bank accounts in different currencies.
• Preparing month-end customer statements and managing direct debit collections.
• Assisting with management accounts: fixed asset reconciliation, intercompany invoicing, journal postings and analysis.
• Processing supplier invoices accurately and on time.
• Resolving queries with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ensuring invoices are approved and paid in line with company policy.
• Completing TSS, Intrastat, VAT (UK & Ireland) and EC Sales List returns.
• Supporting colleagues during busy periods and contributing to departmental reports.
• Assisting with ad hoc projects and finance tasks to meet deadlines.
