Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team in Omagh, UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:

Finance

  • Processing supplier invoices, ensuring all invoices are accurately entered onto the Sage accounting system.
  • Analysing credit card transactions and ensuring timely entry onto the purchase ledger.
  • Creating purchase orders for suppliers.
  • Reconciling supplier statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies to ensure accurate and complete records.
  • Processing sales invoices.
  • Credit control duties.
  • Completing bank reconciliations, comparing the company’s records with bank statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Entering petty cash transactions and reconciling balance.
  • Provide cover for other key tasks within the team as required.

Payroll

  • Processing of and providing support for monthly payroll submissions.
  • Supporting pension scheme administration.
  • Identifying and rectifying discrepancies within payroll.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 1 years experience within a similar finance role, including payroll.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
    Working Conditions:
    This is a full-time position, with standard office hours of 8:30am-5pm, Monday through Friday. The role will be based at our office in Omagh, UK.
