Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REPONSIBILITIES: Support the Group finance department for all required areas: Preparation of annual PSA and P11d calculations Balance sheet reconciliations across 2 x UK legal entities Ownership of credit card accruals and statement reconciliation Expense system processing, compliance and monitoring Assist with the maintenance of intercompany sales and purchase ledger Assist with the process and issue intercompany invoices Assist with preparation of FX files for Group Treasury Assist with monthly netting allocations via Group intercompany payment cycle Process and code non-ledger bank payments Assist with prepare VAT returns for 1 x UK legal entity Month end support to the Assistant UK Finance Manager and UK Finance Manager as required Prepare bi-annual payment practice report for 1 x legal entity External and internal audit support Other ad-hoc tasks as required to support the finance function Environmental, Safety, Risk & Compliance Supporting the Morgan thinkSAFE ethos and leading by example at all times. Observing health and safety procedures and following arrangements for health and safety Qualifications EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND Essential: Experience in an accounting background, experience of month end deadlines Excellent communication skills Methodical and organised Strong excel skills Strong debit and credit skills Desirable: Understanding of IFS or similar ERP system AAT qualified, studying towards further or QBE Expense processing with experience of SAP Concur Competencies: • Business Acumen – Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices and trends affecting the organisation and markets. • Managing Vision & Purpose – Communicates a compelling and inspired vision.
