ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT ROLE OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic property sector business in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone with experience in transactional finance, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while handling supplier payments, billing, reconciliations, VAT returns, and financial reporting.
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supplier Payments & Reconciliations – Reviewing, processing, and authorising supplier payments.
Billing & Credit Control – Managing service charges, rent, insurance, and recharges.
VAT Returns & Month-End Tasks – Assisting with financial reporting and reconciliations.
Bank Reconciliations – Ensuring accuracy and resolving outstanding items.
Data & System Management – Maintaining up-to-date financial records within accounting systems.
Onboarding & Offboarding Support – Managing financial transitions for new and outgoing instructions.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline financial processes.
