KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Assistant role.
  • Accounting or Finance qualification desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work within a small but dynamic finance team.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Experience with Xero is a strong advantage.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a positive, professional attitude.
  • A passion for sports and a desire to contribute to a high-performing organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Process supplier invoices in Xero and ApprovalMax, ensuring accurate coding and departmental cost sign-off.
  • Prepare and process regular supplier payment runs.
  • Act as finance point of contact for suppliers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and complete bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding debtors in collaboration with department heads.
  • Prepare and distribute internal financial reports.
  • Assist with month-end processes and reconciliations.
  • Assist with Auditor queries.
  • Support general financial admin tasks and ad hoc duties as needed.
