OVERVIEW
HOTA is seeking to appoint a Full Time Accounts Administrator – Purchase Ledger to manage all accounting operations for primarily the purchase ledger. It is essential that the candidate has significant experience in accounting.
Interviews will be held on the 3rd September 2025
DESCRIPTION:
The role will also (but not exclusively) include the following as required:
1. Responsible for the Purchase Ledger Function
2. Carry out day to day purchase ledgers functions across the business
3. Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing accounts
4. Record purchase orders on supplier accounts
5. Match invoices to PO’s
6. Data entry posting coded invoices to the ledger
7. Reconciliation of supplier statements
8. Resolve queries from suppliers
9. Filing of invoices
10. Processing staff expenses
11. Reconciling company credit card accounts
12. Assist with Sales Ledger Accounts including chasing overdue debts
13. Process and Allocate receipts: cheques, cash, bacs, bank, debit & credit cards.
14. Assist with other accounting tasks
15. Chase Overdue Debts
16. Purchase Ledger Month End Procedures
17. Assist as & when required in Administration Dept
18. Carry out other such duties as deemed necessary
