REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in General Practice
  • You may be AAT qualified/part qualified or studying, or have developed a career entirely through experience
  • Good working knowledge of producing accounts for limited companies
  • With a background working in the accountancy practice sector.
  • Support is on offer for those pursuing further qualifications.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team or independently, you will be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with knowledge and experience of accounting software.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills, coupled with a solution focused and a positive “can do” attitude are also pre-requisites for the role.
  • You will be working for a company which invests in their employee’s growth, training and knowledge
Responsibilities
  • Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities
  • Drafting corporation tax computations
  • Preparation of VAT returns and bookkeeping
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Assistance with tax return preparation
  • Liaising with clients as appropriate
