Job Description We are seeking an organized and efficient Accounts Assistant to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting department by managing various financial tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Process and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Support the accounting team during month-end and year-end closing procedures Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information Assist in preparing and analyzing budget reports Perform data entry and maintain accuracy in all financial records Support senior accounting staff with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping Proficiency in accounting software Advanced Excel skills and experience with spreadsheet applications Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication abilities Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask Team player with a professional demeanour and ability to work independently when required Familiarity with Irish accounting standards and regulations is a plus Additional Information The chance to bring new ideas, interesting areas for development, and taking responsibility early on are some of the key factors that drive Sika's pioneering spirit Friendly, personable and often surprisingly uncomplicated, that's how many of our employees describe their working relationships at Sika.
