Description

We are a specialist in the supply of turf and related sports surface & landscaping products based in Willington, Derby.
We have recently moved premises and our business is growing and now have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join us, processing data to the sales, purchase and other ledgers.
A working application of Excel is essential preparing information to support decision making.
You will have a variety of work in an interesting and fast moving environment, from posting to the bank accounts, purchases and sales ledgers. You will gain experience processing transactions using Sage
You will get the opportunity to assist with administration tasks and in time become a reference point on queries raised by staff, customers or suppliers. An eye for detail and for accuracy is essential.

Daily tasks include:

  • Purchase Invoice processing
  • Processing expense requests
  • Credit control
  • Cash book maintenance
  • Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers
  • Banks reconciliation
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers
  • Reconciling with POS and Website sales
  • Other administration tasks within the account function

We will support you in any additional relevant study that you may wish to undertake.
Small, busy, office - parking available at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 19 per week
